1.9.6. Cruise control

GENERAL INFORMATION

With its help it is possible to keep any speed exceeding 40 km/h, including the switch.

In a normal mode the car is dispersed till considerable speed by an accelerator pedal. In situation 1 or 2 this speed will be kept by short contacts and the pedal of an accelerator can be lowered.

If it is required to increase speed for example for overtaking – use an accelerator pedal. If a pedal again to release that again earlier chosen speed is automatically established.

If the fixed speed is necessary for raising or lowering slightly (for example, for traffic light journey), hold the switch in situation 1 or 2 before achievement of desirable speed. If the switch to release again, new speed will be fixed.

Short contacts of the switch in situation 1 or 2 speed will increase or go down on 1 km/h.

Switching off cruise control, the switch to move for a while to a position 3. Cruise control is switched off also during the using of a pedal of a brake or decrease in speed to less than 40 km/h (for example, in mountains).

Memory

If the switch at speed more than 40 km/h to transfer to situation 4, the speed entered before switching off will again be established.

If a key in the lock of ignition to turn on 1 or Oh, that last remembered value of speed will be erased.

Example: If when driving under a bias of action of braking of the engine it is not enough, the entered speed will be перешагнута and in case of need it will be necessary to brake. If the brake was not used, as soon as the slope will end, the speed entered earlier will be established again.

Memory is necessary for using at accurate confidence of the remembered speed. Not to exceed engine turns, it is impossible to establish N when driving about cruise control.
