The temperature sensor takes temperature of cooling liquid and transmits the corresponding signals on the actuation device. The sensor contains a NTC element (NTC – negative temperature factor) which reduces the resistance with temperature increase. At the faulty sensor the actuation device gives out reserve size. It leads to that duration of a preliminary and subsequent warming up is incorrectly maintained.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Engine of 2,0 l: remove 6-штырьковый the tip from the relay of management of a warming up and measure resistance between a counter 6 on the tip and the case (the block of cylinders of the engine). If resistance aspires to infinity, in the current-carrying line break. If resistance is lower 1 Ohm, in the electric line short circuit. Preset value: at temperature 25 ° C: 2442 Ohm + 170 Ohm at temperature 80 ° C: 291 Ohm + 16 Ohm. |
2. Engine of 2,2/2,5 l: reduce pressure of cooling liquid. For this purpose uncover the compensatory tank filled with cooling liquid. |
|
3. Disconnect the tip (In 11/4) and unscrew a temperature-sensitive element of cooling liquid. |
|
4. Disconnect the tip (In 11/8х1) and unscrew "a temperature-sensitive element of cooling liquid for the subsequent warming up" on a head of the block of cylinders. |

Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. Suspend in a water bath a temperature-sensitive element and slowly it heat up. |
2. Check an ohmmeter resistance of a temperature-sensitive element. The measured size as it should be if it is in admission limits + 5 % (see the table Resistance of a temperature-sensitive element). |
3. If at measurements the temperature-sensitive element does not reach preset values, it is necessary to replace it. |
|
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Screw in a temperature-sensitive element with the moment of 20 N of m. |
2. Get the cable tip (socket). |
3. Fill in cooling liquid. |
4. Warm up the engine and check level of cooling liquid. |
