7.5.1.5. A temperature-sensitive element of soaked-up air

GENERAL INFORMATION

The temperature-sensitive element takes temperature of soaked-up air. This size together with a signal of the sensor of pressure of the inlet gas pipeline serves for the actuation device as a measure of amount of soaked-up air. A temperature-sensitive element of soaked-up air is the NTC resistor (NTC = negative temperature factor) which resistance decreases at temperature increase.

ENGINE IN VOLUME OF 2,2/2,5 L

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Remove a temperature-sensitive element together with the tip (В17х1), for this purpose compress both lateral fixing a clip (1).

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the tip.
2. Check an ohmmeter resistance of a temperature-sensitive element at various temperatures. The measured size as it should be if it is in admission limits + 5 % (see the table Resistance of a temperature-sensitive element).
3. If at measurements the temperature-sensitive element does not reach preset values, it is necessary to replace it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Get the cable tip (socket).
2. Check on defects or porosity a sealing ring of a round profile, if necessary replace it.
3. Insert a temperature-sensitive element together with a sealing ring of a round profile.
4. Squeeze out fixing clips outside until it distinctly will (aurally) be fixed.
