9.1.2. Check of thickness of a disk of coupling in the mounted condition

GENERAL INFORMATION

Coupling is self-regulating system and does not demand maintenance therefore it is impossible to define wear of a disk of coupling on люфту coupling pedals. To check thickness of a disk of coupling in the mounted condition, the special control template which can be made independently is required.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Make a control template of sheet metal in thickness of 0,8 mm on the scale of 1:1.
2. Raise the car.
	3. Insert a template (4) on the switching center of coupling against the stop into a groove of a plastic insert.
	4. If the cut-out marks of a template (shooter) drown behind a flange of the distributive cylinder of coupling, the coupling disk still has sufficient thickness.
5. If the cut-out marks remain visible though the template is inserted against the stop, in this case the coupling disk already reached the limit of wear and should be replaced.
6. Lower the car.
