2.5.2.1. Visual control of tightness

GENERAL INFORMATION

The following places of leaks are possible:

– a separation place between the block of cylinders of the engine and a transmission (consolidation flywheel / consolidation of a shaft of a transmission);
– the driveshaft on a check point;
– carving stopper of a maslonalivny opening;
– carving stopper of a drain opening.

By search of a place of leak arrive as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear the transmission case a low-temperature cleaner.

2. Check oil level. For this purpose unscrew a carving stopper of a maslonalivny opening (1). Level of oil should reach bottom edge of a bulk opening, if necessary add transmission oil.

3. Hardly tighten a carving stopper of a maslonalivny opening with the moment of at most 60 N of m.

4. Raise dust on expected places of leaks lime or talc powder.

5. Carry out a trial trip. That oil became easily fluid, it is necessary to go on the high-speed route on distance approximately above 30 km.

6. Then raise the car and examine a transmission by means of a lamp for the purpose of detection of leakage of oil.

7. Urgently liquidate places of leaks.
