GENERAL INFORMATION

Engines of the S-class are equipped with electronic system of ignition and fuel injection. Regulation by system of ignition and injection is carried out by one general regulating device. In this section the injection system is in more detail described.

All details of system of injection are stable for a long time operation and do not demand difficult maintenance therefore also repair work is made extremely seldom. Essential adjusting and repair work can be made only when using expensive control devices and existence of the corresponding professional knowledge so these works can be executed only by respectively equipped specialized automobile repair shops.
