2.5.3.2. Check of a free wheeling of a steering wheel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a steering wheel in average situation.
	2. Through an open window turn there-here a steering wheel. On a steering wheel the free wheeling thus can leave a maximum and = 25 mm without moving of wheels.
3. At rather bigger free wheeling of a steering wheel it is necessary to check steering drafts, the steering mechanism and люфты the forward bridge.
	4. Strongly manually move there-here cross-section steering drafts (10), and also longitudinal steering drafts (11). Ball hinges should not have люфта. Otherwise replace hinges or steering drafts.
5. If steering drafts have no люфта though люфт on a steering wheel too big, it is necessary to check люфт the steering mechanism or to adjust (work in a repair truck).
6. Shine with a lamp dustproof caps of hinges cross-section steering and longitudinal the helmsman of drafts and check them on absence of damages, thus pay attention to greasing traces on cuffs and round them.
7. At damage of a dustproof cap, with a view of safety replace the corresponding hinge together with a dustproof cap. The got dirt for certain destroys the hinge.
