2.5.1.6. Check of level of cooling liquid

GENERAL INFORMATION

Level of cooling liquid out of maintenance should be checked also before each rather long trip. For a dolivka, even in a warm season, apply only a mix from antifreeze and bezyzvestkovy, at its finest.

Prevention

To continue a trip, it is possible also, especially in the summer, to add pure water. In this case it is necessary to introduce as soon as possible amendments in composition of cooling liquid of a radiator.

The 6-cylinder or 4-cylinder engine with the conditioner: level of cooling liquid at the cold engine (temperature of cooling liquid about +20 ° C) should reach an interface between a black top part and the transparent lower part of a compensatory tank.

The 4-cylinder engine without the conditioner: level of cooling liquid at the cold engine (temperature of cooling liquid about +20 ° C) should reach a mark in a bulk branch pipe of a radiator.

Add cooling liquid, if its level too low.

To avoid engine damage, add cooling liquid at the cold engine.

Prevention

Carefully open a locking cover at the hot engine. There is a danger to be scalded! When opening over a locking cover lay a rag. A locking cover open whenever possible only in that case when the temperature of cooling liquid will fall below 90 ° Page.

When opening at first slightly raise a locking cover to clean superfluous pressure. After that turn further a cover and remove it.

Carry out visual survey if level of cooling liquid decreases for short time.
