3.1.12. Maslootrazhatelnye caps

GENERAL INFORMATION

Worn-out maslootrazhatelny caps can cause the raised consumption of oil. Caps can be removed and at the established head of the block of cylinders. However, the compressed air and a lever pusher with the basic device, for example, Mercedes-11 589 015900, 11 589 186 186 100 and 11 589 256 300 is thus necessary. If the special tool is not present, it is necessary to remove a head of the block of cylinders.

Below replacement of maslootrazhatelny caps for the 4-cylinder engine is described, and for the 6-cylinder – act on sense, using the corresponding tool.

Removal

Prevention

If details of management are used by the valve again, they should be mounted on the same places. Not to mix a detail, make the special panel for their storage.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove camshafts.
2. Remove spark plugs.
3. Remove a sheeting of wires of the engine on a forward wall of a body.
	4. Fasten a basic crossing point (2) with a mobile detail (7) to bearings 1 and 5 of a camshaft or late to bearings 6 and 10 with the moment of 20 N of m.
5. Turn in VMT the piston of the corresponding cylinder a wrench with a nozzle. 4-cylinder engine: at the provision VMT of a belt pulley pistons 1 and 4 stand in VMT. At coincidence of a 180-degree mark of a belt pulley to a base mark in VMT there are pistons of cylinders 1 and 6. 6-cylinder engine: at the provision VMT of a belt pulley in VMT there are also pistons of cylinders 1 and 6. At coincidence of a 120-degree mark of a belt pulley – pistons of cylinders 2 and 5; at a 240-degree mark – pistons of cylinders 3 and 4. Prevention At turn of a cranked shaft highly raise an operating chain that it was not jammed.
6. Hang a lever pusher.
	7. Extend a tarelchaty pusher (3) rubber sucker (diameter of 30 mm), for example, HAZET 735-2.
Prevention Do not use for this purpose a magnetic siphon as the surface of sliding of a tarelchaty pusher is magnetized, and subsequently on it the smallest metal shaving that leads to damage of a pusher and cams is postponed.
8. Fix a cranked shaft. For this purpose establish the first transfer and tighten the parking brake.
9. Establish in the chamber of combustion of the cylinder superfluous pressure at least the 6th bar. For this purpose screw in a podsoyedinitelny hose (4) devices for check of tightness of the cylinder in a spark plug opening. If there is no control device of tightness, it is possible to make the corresponding hose by means of an old spark plug.
	10. Bite off an electrode of "weight" of an old spark plug (1). Break off a ceramic insulator (2) by means of a screw-driver, and also break off, shaking backwards-forward, an average electrode (3) and take. To Vytolknita a punch (about 3 mm) the remains of an average electrode with steklomassy (4) and a connecting finger (5). Thus clamp a spark plug in a vice or use corresponding vintonarezny the machine.
Prevention Do not damage a spark plug carving not to spoil an opening carving in a head of the block of cylinders.
11. Screw in a spark plug in the corresponding cylinder, connect to a delivery air hose and establish in the cylinder superfluous pressure at least the 6th bar.
	12. Establish a lever pusher (9) with a detail of pressure (5) on a plate of a spring of the valve. Arrange a detail of pressure and a mobile detail in parallel each other. A mobile detail fix a bolt (8).
13. Compress a valve spring. Prevention Do not compress a valve spring without the compressed air, damage of valves and pistons differently is possible.
	14. Details of a rod of the valve (14) remove from a valve core with tweezers (6) or a magnetic siphon.
15. Take a plate of a spring of the valve (15) and a valve (17) spring.
	16. Remove a maslootrazhatelny cap (86) from a valve core special pincers, for example, HAZET 791-6.
Prevention Do not damage a core and directing the valve.
17. Take a plate of a spring of the valve (15) and a valve (17) spring.
18. If it is necessary, remove agnails from a flute of a core of the valve a melkodispersny nazhdachny cloth.
19. Check wear directing the valve in the field of a prileganiye them to maslootrazhatelny caps. Replace directing the valve (work for repair shops).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Pognutye details of a rod, valves and a spring plate replace.
2. Directing the valve which are rejected from a holding flute for maslootrazhatelny caps, should be replaced (work for a workshop).
	3. Put on a protective sleeve (2) a valve core.
4. Oil a maslootrazhatelny cap (86) and get manually by means of an assembly opravka. Prevention The assembly opravka is a part of a repair kit. At a nozzle without an assembly opravka the sealing facet of a maslootrazhatelny cap is damaged.
5. Establish and fix springs of the valve and a plate of springs of the valve.
6. Insert details of a rod of the valve, unclench valve springs.
7. Establish a tarelchaty pusher.
8. Replace a maslootrazhatelny cap.
9. Unscrew spark plugs.
10. Establish camshafts.
11. Fix a covering of a set of electroconducting of the engine on a forward wall of a body.
